About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Executive with a proven track record of hiring WordPress Engineers across the global markets with specialization in the South US and Europe.
This role requires expertise in sourcing, engaging, and closing WordPress talent. The ideal candidate understands where to find high-quality WordPress professionals, how to assess alignment against hiring criteria, and how to build strong talent pipelines for remote-first engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment for WordPress Engineering roles (Mid to Senior level).
- Source WordPress developers through LinkedIn, niche communities, referrals, job boards and direct outreach.
- Conduct recruiter screening calls to assess candidate fit against role requirements, experience, communication skills and compensation expectations.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and technical interviewers.
- Deliver an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate recruitment pipeline tracking and status updates.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to drive timely hiring decisions and successful closures.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified WordPress talent for current and future hiring needs.
- Ensure a consistent weekly pipeline of relevant shortlisted candidates.
Primary Skills
- Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience.
- Demonstrated experience hiring software engineering talent.
- Experience recruiting across the USA, Europe and Asia markets.
- Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn, Community Sourcing and talent mapping techniques.
- Proven track record of successfully closing senior technical candidates.
- Ability to work independently and drive hiring outcomes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the WordPress ecosystem, agencies, and open-source communities.
- Experience recruiting for PHP, React, JavaScript or modern web development roles.
